Kalkan

KalkanKalkan, amid to the southernmost end of the Teke peninsula, by the baby bay of the aforementioned name, is a new adjustment unit. Obviously, the aboriginal settlers of the breadth were the Tekelioğlu Turkomans who aboriginal immigrated to the Gömbe and Elmalı plateaux and, then, affective down to the south, acclimatized and congenital their villages in the Eşen Valley and the Yeşilköy-Fırnaz plains. Some of the Turkomans who acclimatized in Yeşilköy laid the foundations of today’s commune of Kalkan which is by the bay on the added ancillary of the acropolis of the aforementioned name in the east of the village.
